When looking objectively upon others, one gets a comforting sense of real life that individualizes the self; however, when looking objectively upon that self, it seems to lose all individuality and anything that makes it unique. There’s 6.78 billion people on this planet, and what are you? Just one in the crowd, and nothing will set you apart from that. That said, I’m in a good mood today. Enjoy your weekend.

The Toxicity of Information

The definition of ‘drug’ is very vague, most simply described as “a substance that, when taken into the body, alters normal bodily function” but the substance part can be left out. It can be interpreted to describe art, ideology, but most importantly, information. The government, just like it does with recreational drugs, regulates information and intoxicates the population with their State Approved brand of information, influencing nationalistic tendencies while criminalizing other ideas and drugs. Art is my favorite drug, because it does just the opposite.

Geeks: Out To Lunch

Sometimes even a geek doesn’t want to talk about geeky things. Geeks: Out To Lunch is now my personal blog as an aside to my regular blog, Geeks With Taste. Anything goes here, whether it be random, personal writings, poetry, photographs, or even political rants (maybe); anything that doesn’t really belong on Geeks With Taste will go here, and most of that will be random acts of pseudo-artistry. Yes, so if you’re interested in The Geek himself, than Geeks: Out To Lunch is the place for you; if not, then go back to Geeks With Taste, where everything will remain as it has always been. Geeks: Out to Lunch is sort of like a personal diary for me, so more often than not I’ll be the only one interested in it. Think of it simply as a way to keep my work and my play separated. That said, enjoy!
