The Toxicity of Information

The definition of ‘drug’ is very vague, most simply described as “a substance that, when taken into the body, alters normal bodily function” but the substance part can be left out. It can be interpreted to describe art, ideology, but most importantly, information. The government, just like it does with recreational drugs, regulates information and intoxicates the population with their State Approved brand of information, influencing nationalistic tendencies while criminalizing other ideas and drugs. Art is my favorite drug, because it does just the opposite.
